Embark on a transcendent journey with Mephorash, the Swedish black metal entity shaping the genre's esoteric frontier since 2010. Their album, "Shem Ha Mephorash," intricately weaves the Kabbalistic name of God into a doom-laden tapestry, transcending traditional black metal assaults. Kall

Kall was created of the ashes of the well known DSBM-Band Lifelover. Swedish for "cold", Kall pulls together elements of post-punk and depressive suicidal black metal (aka "DSBM"), pushing the sounds together to create a style that has been called "thundering", earning the band the title of "the Velvet Underground of black 'n roll" (Cvlt Nation). Kall's powerful, cathartic songs are emotional, organic, and shrouded in an eerie darkness. Long-hanging funereal guitar lines float over peaks of thunderous cacophony and valleys of soul-searching melodies before settling into all of the subtle, beautiful, and terrifying spaces in between.
Pénitence Onirique

Penitence Onirique is a band from France that has dedicated itself to melodic black metal since it was founded in 2015. As is customary for the genre, the French band are also mystical: they perform in disguise and also cover their faces. Their previous albums "V.I.T.R.I.O.L" and "Vestige" have already made an impression. With "Nature Morte", the sextet is now following up.

Often, the story behind the creation of an album is as poignant as the music itself, but the Belarusian duo DYMNA LOTVA takes it to an entirely new level with their latest release, "The Land Under The Black Wings: Blood." Facing attempts by the Belarusian authorities, led by Lukashenko, to censor their music, the duo had to flee their homeland due to political persecution. After narrowly escaping the war in Russia, their first refuge, they finally found sanctuary in Poland. DYMNA LOTVA, which translates to "Swamp in the Smoke," focuses on processing these experiences and the events in their homeland, referencing the burned villages and transgressions in the Polesian Swamp region.
